Southern Spain, were the climate is similar to Southern California, people are starting to changing there habits, especially the Northern Europeans, who brought in their turf like culture from Holland and England. Now their is a huge trend in Southern Spain to use indigenous plants which grows wild in the mountains and hills and use them in landscaping their private gardens and out doors, especially in Almeria which is the desert of Spain.

Almost everyone is a "holdout" in Southern California. Water is still too cheap. The agencies are beginning to be more strict, but it needs to be a cultural shift. Everyone just loves their green turf. They love mowing it, pouring pesticides and fertilizer on it, and they especially must love when the runoff from their irrigation carries these pesticides to the streams and oceans. JUST GET RID OF YOUR TURF FOLKS. IT'LL BE OK.

The only changing in Las Vegas is all the foreclosures in every neighborhood. Every other house empty. Not to mention how fuckin greedy Las Vegas is. The utilities keep going up, companies keep leaving Las Vegas making the unemployment skyrocket. A bunch of crocked ass politicians on the local level. Can you believe the mayor of Las Vegas wants to legalize prostitution? Vegas sucks ass!
