I won't argue that this is a somewhat good piece of music. But for sure, lots of his "music" was just plain terrible and strange.

lol... You're serious? You think this piece is validation that Cage was a good composer? Sorry, but to me it only proves that he could write a piece of modal minimalist music if he needed to. I'm not really a huge fan of John Cage, but if my goal were to prove his compositional merit, I don't think I would have used this piece?But it is more enjoyable than some of his Aleatoric stuff for sure. So I guess I get what you mean lol
